Community Day

Community day to launch ATCP's 2008 programme: Saturday March 1, 10 am - 5 pm with all ATCP staff

Foundations and Developing Practice

For new trainees: The main theories, concepts, and techniques of the psychodramatic method will be introduced, including spontaneity theory, group work, role theory, sociometry, and the various constructs of the dramatic stage. An experiential approach to learning will be used. Experience will be built up in applying these ideas in psychotherapeutic, social, organisational and life settings. Trainees will participate in group interactions and dramas as audience, protagonist, auxiliary and director. The training year includes two supervision sessions.

For trainees who are returning: You will build on the cooperative and experiential approach to learning that has been developed in the previous year's work. The integration of psychodramatic theory and practice into each trainee's professional and personal lives will be deepened and expanded.
