Training Staff & Associate Trainers

Dale Herron, Anne Kilgour, Marilyn Sutcliffe, Phil Carter, Vivienne Thomson, Joan Chappell-Mathias. From time to time, other qualified trainers will be invited to conduct training sessions at the discretion of the centre staff.

Trainer Profiles

Dale Herron

Psychodramatist. Trainer, Educator, Practitioner. Dale has been involved in group work and psychotherapy since 1973 and began psychodrama training in 1974. She is a member of ANZPA and NZAP and is currently in private practice.

Anne Kilgour

Psychodramatist. Trainer, Educator, Practitioner in Training. Counsellor, therapist and group facilitator, Anne works from her own retreat/training centre, Tahatai, on Waiheke Island. She is a member of NZAC.

Marilyn Sutcliffe

Psychodramatist. Trainer, Educator, Practitioner in training. She works as a counsellor and trainer in private practice. She is a member of NZAC and ANZPA.

Phil Carter

Psychodramatist. Trainer, Educator, Practitioner in Training. Phil uses the psychodramatic method in IT, education, and a range of therapeutic and training groups.

Vivienne Thomson

Sociodramatist. Trainer, Educator, Practitioner. Viv is a company director and works as a consultant developing Organisation Development.

Dr Joan Chappell-Mathias

Dr G Max Clayton

Director of Training of the Wellington Psychodrama Training Institute. He has been responsible for much of the development of psychodrama in Australia and New Zealand and for the past thirty-three years, has been conducting training workshops in psychodrama; sociodrama, sociometry, role training and group work in many parts of the world.

Chris Hosking

Psychodramatist, counsellor, individual supervisor and group work supervisor. Over a number of years, Chris has been a visiting teacher to several training institutes in NZ and Australia and has been involved in training others in the areas of psychodrama, sociometry and groups as systems.

Paula Clements

Psychodramatist. Paula manages a social service agency and works as a counsellor, supervisor and group facilitator in private practice. She is a member of NZAC.
