About Psychodrama
Psychodrama is the names given by J.L. Moreno to the method he developed for helping people become more creative in day-to-day living. It has applications in many different areas in which people are learning, changing and relating to others, such as training, education, healing, spiritual life, business, performing arts and organisatial development. Learning can be applied directly in actual living situations.
Psychodrama will be used as a training method. Enactment brings a session to life, making visible all the interrelated social and cultural forces that influence the work. Various approaches will be experienced and explored in action.
As well as a useful tool for training, psychodrama is a method that is useful in working with clients as well as in supervision. Participants can expect to learn about psychodrama and how to apply some psychodramatic approaches in their work. Concretisation and role theory will be taught as they can be used to make assessments and to devise appropriate intervention.
