Training Staff
Paul Baakman (Director) has a background in Mental Health Nursing and Residential Social Work. He is a Psychotherapist and Psychodramatist who works in private practice. He is a Trainer Educator Practitioner (TEP).
Sara Crane is a Psychodramatist, a Trainer Educator Practitioner (TEP) and is a psychotherapist with a special interest in children and families and has a long-standing involvement with Playback Theatre.
Walter Logeman is a Psychodramatist and Registered Psychotherapist who works in private practice. He specialises in relationship therapy. He has a background in teaching and Social Work and has been a supervisor since the 1980s. Walter is a member of New Zealand Association of Psychotherapists and on the local and national Supervision committee. He is a Trainer Educator Practitioner (in training) in the Australian and New Zealand Psychodrama Association Inc.
Visiting Trainers
Vivienne Thomson is a Sociodramatist and TEP. She is on the staff of the Auckland Training Centre for Psychodrama and is currently a member of the Board of Examiners. Her professional identity is as a consultant in organisation development where she works sociodramatically with groups.
Don Reekie is a Trainer Educator Practitioner (TEP), a Psychodramatist and Role Trainer. He works with team relationships in organisations as well as with individual development and health. He is currently a trainer in Christchurch and Queensland.
Valerie and Rex Hunton: Valerie Hunton is a well known artist while Rex is a physician. Both are experienced psychotherapists and counsellors. In 1981, they were the first New Zealanders to qualify as certificated psychodramatists. Since then they have practised and taught this method as well as applying it to their own relationship and lives while living in NZ and Pacific Island countries.
