Vivienne Thomson

Vivienne is a Sociodramatist, Trainer Educator Practitioner and the Director of Training for the PANZ Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland. A member of AANZPA for 31 years, she has served on the AANZPA Executive and as Secretary of the Board of Examiners. She is currently the Chair of the Ethics Committee.

Vivienne is a qualified Teacher and has a B.A. majoring in Education and a Post Graduate Diploma in Product Design Enterprise.

Vivienne established a consulting company in the 1980s which continues today. Over the years she has worked on innovative organisational development projects with most NZ government departments, most unions, many corporates and NGOs. She has had major contracts in training and development, staff recruitment, developing resources and needs analysis in Australia, Malaysia and Great Britain. Currently, her work is mostly providing supervision, mentoring and group work for NGOs, small teams and individuals in the Auckland region. She is also a Board Member of the Shakespeare Globe Centre New Zealand Trust.

Vivienne is a grandmother of four and lives on Waiheke Island. She has many creative outlets: as a private pianist, handbell ringer, gardener, fisher and cook.
