Description

An optional residential workshop, open to all trainees, including those from other training institutes.

Psychodrama is a theatrical method and directing theatre means you need to be able to think clearly, be fully present, have a vision and be articulate. Writing will help you with all of these processes. This workshop will give you time to focus on your next writing assignment.

The workshop begins Friday evening with informal orientation and welcome. We will have three 3-hour structured sessions, two on Saturday and one on Sunday. These sessions include writing, supervision to direct you to relevant reading, conversation and dramas to assist the writing. The rest of the time you will spend doing productive writing and taking some time for walks and cooking.

Fee includes accommodation – participants will bring food to share. Maximum number of participants is eight.

Venue

Walter and Kate have a cosy log cabin hidden away in the mountains. It is 145km from Christchurch, transport can be shared. There will be space for sleeping and working for about eight people.
