PANZ Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland Training Programme
Intermediate & Advanced Training Group 2025
Begins: 28 February. Auckland: Group Leader: Hamish Brown. The training will focus on the integration of the method and developing the identity of the practitioner.
Foundations & Developing Practice Training Group 2025
Begins: 14-16 February. Epsom, Auckland. Group Leader, Martin Putt. Foundations and Developing Practice Training Group is to provide new trainees with an introduction and overview of the entire content of the method – psychodrama, sociodrama, sociometry, role training, and group work; and to deepen and extend the theory and practice being learned by returning trainees.

Introduction to Psychodrama series
These short workshops will focus on the five areas of psychodrama, role training, sociodrama, sociometry and spontaneity.
Residential Psychodrama Training Workshop. Te Whanganui-a-Tara Wellington
11 – 15 June 2025. Wellington. Residential Psychodrama Training Workshop. This 4-day workshop will address all aspects of the psychodrama method with experiences of being a director, auxiliary, protagonist and group member.
Te Whanganui-a -Tara Wellington Supervised Practice Workshop
1-3 August 2025. Wellington: Chris Hosking. Supervised Practice Workshop. A 3-day standalone training workshop which is suitable for trainees who want to develop and refine the application of the psychodrama method in their practice.
Group work training and supervision
These group work training and supervision sessions will provide an opportunity to explore and integrate the theory and practice of group work.

Cher Williscroft Psychodrama Essential: An introduction to using the psychodramatic method
Nelson. February 22 2025. Cher Williscroft. This one-day workshop will involve active, experiential learning using the psychodrama method. This may include one of the four psychodrama specialities: role training, sociodrama, sociometry and psychodrama. It will benefit those who wish to experience the psychodrama method and draw on its potency in your work This workshop will also assist you to develop your leadership capacity – in play, in work and in relationships – increasing your capacity to rise up to life’s challenges and be uplifted in your spirit.

Suitable for those trainees who work in one to one, group or organisational setting: counselling, psychology, supervision, teaching, training, psychotherapy, coaching, group workers or community development, who wish to ensure their competent practice and expand their abilities in a small group setting.

14 & 15 February 2025. Ōtautahi Christchurch. This psychodrama weekend being offered by PANZ Ōtautahi Christchurch Campus is open to anyone who wants to experience the psychodrama method and will be of particular interest to those of you considering training in psychodrama.

Begins 28 February 2025. The Ōtautahi Christchurch multi-level training in 2025 involves participating in a year-long programme consisting of experiential workshops, reading, writing, a peer practice group and supervision.
Marae Based Intensive Psychodrama Workshop 2025
Karitane. 24 -28 September 2025. This experientially based training includes both theoretical and practical components. This workshop is suitable for anyone working in the human relations field.
Group Leadership 2025 Ōtautahi Christchurch
Christchurch. Led by Simon Gurnsey and Maria Snegirev. This experientially based training includes both theoretical and practical components. This is part of the training for Ōtautahi Christchurch trainees and is open to others.
