Cher Williscroft Psychodrama Essentials: An introduction to using the psychodramatic method in your work with individuals and groups November 2025

This one-day workshop will involve active, experiential learning using the psychodrama method. This may include one of the four psychodrama specialities: role training, sociodrama, sociometry and psychodrama. It will benefit those who wish to experience the psychodrama method and draw on its potency in your work This workshop will also assist you to develop your leadership capacity – in play, in work and in relationships – increasing your capacity to rise up to life’s challenges and be uplifted in your spirit.

The workshop is suitable for those who wish to discover the relevance and potency of psychodrama to their professional and clinical work. Participants are drawn from management, training, education, community work, the creative arts, social change, and those working in one to one therapeutic settings. Anyone who wishes to ensure their competent practice and expand their knowledge of psychodrama in a small group setting may apply eg counsellors, psychologists, psychotherapists, supervisors, teachers, coaches, or group workers This workshop is highly recommended for people who want to learn more and dip their toes into the method, prior to enrolling in any 2025 Training Workshops in Nelson campus or any psychodrama campus in Aotearoa NZ If you are new to psychodrama, have not trained with us before or are returning after a long break from training, please contact us for a training conversation prior to enrolling to ensure you have the psychodrama experience needed to enter a training programme and that our training programme will be a good match for you.
