Theory, Philosophy of Psychodrama and Writing
16 June, 2017. This experientially based training includes both theoretical and practical components. This is part of the training for Christchurch trainees and the workshop is open to others. Psychodrama techniques, theory and philosophy form a unified practice. Participants will be asked to read some passages from Moreno’s writing prior to the group. Philosophy will be explored in action. The philosophy related to trainee’s thesis topics will be identified. We will collaborate on integrating theory into the writing.

Moreno wrote in “Who Shall Survive? (page 88) “The true subject of a sociodrama is the group.” What this means will be explored by experiencing a sociodrama. We will then relate the learning to how sociodrama is relevant in our work and life.
